Malnutrition can go two different directions, there is the malnutrition where the subject is undernourished due to the lack of resources. Then there is the act of being malnourished in daily life for the subject is eating enough food to survive but, he or she is not consuming the correct food, like fruits, and vegetables, this is not letting the body's health reach full potential. By purposely not letting the body reach its full potential there are many parts of the human body that get affected as a consequence, some of these include, heart disease, diabetes (type 1 & 2), and osteoarthritis. However there a lot more horrid results if referring to the previous type of malnutrition, which was the lack of resources. These include, child stunting, infections, reduced mobility, muscle wasting, and extreme weight loss.

Regional Hunger is an issue that many countries suffer of all over the world, for they do not have enough resources to provide the food stability that the mass populations need in order to survive and this is leading them to become undernourished which is one of the types of malnutrition. This issue tends to be more common in the underdeveloped countries for it is difficult to acquire resources, then again it occurs all over the world and many people in the world are dying everyday because of diseases caused by starvation and famine. Hunger can occur everywhere even in a country with a somewhat stable economy like the United States there are still families across the country requesting for food stamps because they just can't afford to provide the food.
